Vanilla Mace is a social media personality and content creator celebrated for her playful, pretty aesthetic, sharp sense of humor, and vibrant personality. She blends fashion, lifestyle, and quirky creativity in everything she does, building a brand that’s both visually captivating and genuinely fun. For her new merchandise collection, I created a full suite of five designs, four clothing items, and one sticker, drawing inspiration from ornamental filigree, decorative motifs, archival imagery from the British Digital Library, and custom illustrations.
As the sole designer, I handled every aspect of the release, from concept and illustration to hand-drawn type design, full branding, tag design, and final layouts. Every element was carefully considered to stay true to Vanilla’s personal style, blending whimsical cuteness with decorative flourishes for a collection that felt cohesive, expressive, and uniquely hers.
This project was an exploration of illustration, typography, branding, and a bit of photography, blending intricate decorative detail with playful charm. It was gratifying to bring her vision to life in a collection that’s personal, polished, and full of personality.
