Vanilla Mace is a social media personality and content creator popular for her playful and pretty aesthetic, sharp sense of humor, and vibrant personality, building a brand that’s both captivating and fun. For her new merchandise collection, I created five designs: four clothing items and one sticker, drawing inspiration from ornamental filigree, decorative motifs, archival imagery from the British Digital Library, and custom hand-drawn type, inspired by her tattoos.
As the sole designer, I handled every aspect of the release, including full branding, tag design, and final layouts. Every element was carefully considered to stay true to Vanilla’s personal aesthetics, blending cuteness with ornamental work for a line that felt unique to her.
This project was such a fun exploration of illustration, typography, branding, and a little bit of photography, blending intricate decorative detail with playful charm. It was incredibly gratifying to bring her unique vision to life in a collection that’s personal, polished, and full of personality.
