IT’S SHOWTIME

It’s Showtime is a short film by LA-based filmmaker Brennan Stasiewicz, starring Dave England. I was brought on to create animated title cards and the film’s poster that would misdirect the audience, setting up an eerie, horror-like tone before the film’s true comedic nature unfolds.
My goal was to design visuals that were both playful and creepy, balancing unsettling textures and typography with a sense of fun. I developed a custom typeface and hand-animated sequences to capture the emotional ambiguity the client had envisioned.
The film has since been selected for several film festivals, including the LA Comedy Film Fest, the Georgia Shorts Film Festival, and the HollyShorts Comedy Film Festival.
